Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 10, 2026

OminiNote ("the app") is a stylus note-taking application developed by Ravindu. This policy explains how the app handles your data. OminiNote is a proprietary product (it is not open source).

What data we access

The app optionally lets you sign in with your Google account to sync your notes to Google Drive. When you sign in, the app:

What we do NOT do

Local storage

Notes, pages, and assets are stored locally on your device in the app's documents directory. They are never uploaded anywhere except your own Google Drive when you choose to enable sync (or when you explicitly share a copy or invite a collaborator).

Google Drive sync (optional)

Sync is entirely optional. You may use the app indefinitely without signing in to Google. If you enable sync, all data travels directly between your device and your personal Google Drive account over Google's encrypted infrastructure — we have no visibility into it.

Sharing and collaboration

If you use share links or collaboration invites, the app may host a bundle or invite metadata in your Google Drive and generate a public link on omininote.com that opens the app. Recipients only receive what you choose to share.

Revoking access

You can sign out and revoke the app's Drive access at any time from the app's Settings screen, or from Google Account → Security → Third-party apps. Revoking access does not delete notes already saved to Drive; you may delete the omininote/ folder from Drive manually at any time.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at https://omininote.com/privacy with a new effective date.
